We founded Alcalaw on the belief that the law doesn’t solve problems; people solve problems. Alcalaw marries high-stakes investigation, litigation and appellate experience with a more human approach to law and investigations to help clients strategically identify and resolve issues no matter how sensitive or complex. Our Founders
Led by accomplished trial lawyers Rena Paul and Margaret Gandy, Alcalaw brings a depth of experience, innovation and creative problem solving to our clients. Rena Paul, Esq.
Alcalaw co-founder Rena Paul is an award-winning lawyer, investigator, writer and trainer who brings more than 17 years of private and public sector experience in investigations, litigation and appeals. She served in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
Margaret Gandy, Esq.
Alcalaw co-founder Margaret Gandy is an award-winning lawyer and investigator who brings more than 17 years of diverse investigative, trial and appellate experience. She has served in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and as a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
