Co-Founder Rena Paul Appears on Law & Crime to Discuss Trial Featured in Netflix Documentary “Take Care of Maya”

On October 9, 2023, Rena Paul appeared on Law & Crime to discuss the testimony of Maya Kowalski, who was held in Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2016 after her parents sought treatment for a rare disease. Maya’s mother committed suicide after the hospital initiated an investigation into child abuse and restricted Maya’s access to her parents. The case was featured in Netflix’s documentary “Take Care of Maya.”
